Held each Spring and Fall, the Texas Avenue Community Association (TACA) will hold the Spring 2013 fair on April 27th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Located at the corner of Texas Avenue and Common Street in downtown Shreveport, the Makers Fair recreates the lively vibe that once was commonplace in this historic, downtown neighborhood. The Texas Avenue Makers Fair was founded as a way to draw the community to this underutilized section of Downtown Shreveport as the Texas Avenue Community Association and other organizations work to revitalize the area.

Makers (Vendors) offer a wide assortment of handmade, re-purposed  or reconstructed items ranging from clothing and fashion accessories to toys, food and art.

An unusual assortment of roving entertainers and performances are scheduled throughout the day – you will never experience the same Makers Fair twice.

Admission is free and abundant free parking is available near the event.
